SNAP Inc. 2016 – 2021

From September 2019 to May 2021 I worked remotely as a contract Graphic Designer on the USCG MIPSA project. I developed a comprehensive UI style guide that ensured a consistent and professional look across all e-learning courses. I also designed and illustrated various interactive vector assets, including avatars, logos, icons, buttons, and infographics. Beyond my design work, I actively supported my team by providing technical guidance on Storyline 360, troubleshooting issues, sharing best practices, and mentoring colleagues on both design and development techniques. My proficiency in platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Microsoft Teams also facilitated seamless file management and real-time collaboration.

From 2016 – 2019 I worked as a contract graphic designer on the Defense Language Isntitute Foregn Languge Center’s Headstart2 project. During my contract as a Graphic Designer at SNAP Inc., I spearheaded the 2D animation pipeline, optimizing the workflow to deliver high-quality animations on tight deadlines. My role involved conducting in-depth cultural research to accurately portray the nuances of various cultures and languages in our visual assets. This research informed the development of a universal illustration style, ensuring all designs were authentic and respectful. I also designed and managed a vast library of visual assets to ensure efficient access for the production team. My expertise in 2D animation, using both frame-by-frame and rigging techniques, allowed me to create dynamic and culturally accurate animations, while the production system I developed helped streamline the overall process.
